¿El Perú estará al borde de la catástrofe, o es solo pesimismo? ¿Será que un terremoto es necesario para que el país se reconstruya de una manera más justa? Mientras la muchacha evalúa su decisión, cuatro breves relatos nos ilustran algunas situaciones cotidianas de nuestra realidad.
Estos son: la inauguración de un restaurante, el rodaje de un comercial, la cola después de un mitin, un balneario “privado”. Cada microcosmos nos habla de nuestra manera de “ser” peruanos en medio de un gran silencio sísmico, como metáfora de que algo terrible está por llegar.

“Silencio sísmico” es el nombre de la obra escrita por Eduardo Adrianzén, dirigida por Óscar Carrillo y protagonizada por Sonia Seminario, Ximena Arroyo, Giovanni Arce, Alain Salinas y Rosella Roggero. “La metáfora de estar esperando un terremoto, significa que siempre estamos esperando que pase algo superior a nuestras fuerzas que nos haga cambiar por obligación, más que por nuestro propio esfuerzo como sociedad”, expresa.
